LICENSING
Below is a guide to the private investigator licensing requirements of the individual states.
Wherever possible, we have added a link to the state's applicable law. In many jurisdictions there are also city
and/or county regulations that may apply. In those states that do not require licensing it is at least necessary
to obtain a business license. Double check all information, as it is subject to change.
